Who are you? Company Name?
My name is Tonya Terelle..My company
name is LavishModels
Where did the name 'Lavish'
come from?
The name LAVISH came from Tonya
Terelle always thinking Lavish,
always representing Lavish; therefore,
I would want my models to have the
image of being Lavish and always
portraying themselves in a professional,
elegant and lavish manner..Models
will get respect that way.
What type of modeling company
is this?
LavishModels provides talent regarding
promotional modeling, hosting events,
print ads, fashion shows, videos,
movies, etc.
How many models make up
'Lavish'?
At this point, I can’t pin point
a number, because LavishModels is
growing every day.

What projects are Lavish Models
currently working on?
Currently working on promotion work and
also getting ready for a major video shoot
in Atlanta, GA and a High-End
fashion show in New York.
What made you start Lavish Models?
Are you a model/formal model?
I wanted to start the company LavishModels
because I wanted to represent for the lavish
chics downsouth. I noticed
a lot of times DownSouth chics are “left
out” when it comes to the entertainment
industry…AS IF we don’t exist.
But, it’s time to change the game
in regard to that concept.. DownSouth chics
are “what that is” and it’s
time we make our mark on the map. As DownSouth
rappers and singers are finally getting
their recognition, it’s time the DownSouth
models get their recognition as well - and
we not half-steppin..We coming full fledge.
(not to disrespect models from other areas…WE
ARE ALL DOING OUR THANG)
Do you still model?
Yes, I am currently pursuing my modeling/acting
career while also keeping the company LAVISH
MODELS grounded. What motivated me to start
the company? I noticed some BEHIND THE SCENE
folk ROBBING THE MODELS in
the industry from being TOO GREEDY. I feel
that is not the way business should be handled.
Anyone who knows TonyaTerelle, knows that
she is the ULTIMATE HUSLTER/GRINDER in these
streets of Dallas, Tx, and she has plenty
business-savvy, so I felt that I could take
the industry by storm by forming my own
company and representing the models
as they should be repped.
Do you prefer to model or run the
biz?
THAT’S A GOOD QUESTION..At this point,
I prefer to run the business, but sometimes,
it gets hard, because some clients ask ME
to do a video, or photo shoot, etc. But,
I won’t take the SHINE away from my
models…It’s love out
there for all of us, though.
What's next for Lavish?
There is a lot in store for Lavish. I plan
on doing it B.I.G. (Believe In GOD ‘cuz
he believes in you) LavishModels are
going to take the Model Industry by storm
and change the game of what “the industry”
sometimes label models in the game..GROUPIES..BOPPERS..we
are not..We are professional individuals
who get the job done and keep on grinding
to get to the top of our careers. I hear
a lot of negativity about models, but WITHOUT
MODELS..a video is not always
as hot as it is..WITHOUT MODELS, that cd
cover really is not that hot.WITHOUT MODELS..these
folk in the game
that want to floss and stunt..really wouldn’t
have anyone to floss for..WITHOUT MODELS..who
would you be poppin bottles for in the club?
So, MODELS ARE NEEDED in this industry…and
WE DEMAND OUR RESPECT!!

How long have you been modeling?
I personally have been modeling/acting
for the past 6 years.
How long has Lavish been around?
Lavish has been around approximately 3
months, and since Lavish was formed, the
name and buzz of Lavish is in cities/states
such as Houston, Atlanta, New York and Miami..which
is an excellent thing (and will only continue
to grow
into a household name)

Are you single?
I love GOD and he loves me. He is the only
man that has my back, he is the only man
that picks me up when I fall, he is
the only man that I will cry for..He is
the only man I will ever worship…SO
WITH THAT SAID..NO, I AM NOT SINGLE…(Now
that’s an answer for ya)..But, I do
currently have a BEST FRIEND!
Craziest line someone has given
you?
Man, o man…there are so many. I think
the craziest is a guy telling me “I
WILL DRINK YOUR BATH WATER”. I am
like you a nasty sumthin for that!
How does someone get your attention?
One can get my attention by being charismatic
and REAL. Fakeness is a big turn off to
me.
I believe in the “DO U” factor,
so faking and fronting to be something you
are not..is really not what that is. It
doesn’t
matter your status in life..as long as you
REAL..that gets my attention.
Working with a large staff of models
can be an ugly situation sometimes. How
do you balance out the different attitudes,
moodswings, and exprience of your models/staff?
I just keep it real with my models and
let them know I am not for the bull crap
and the cattiness. I let them know I am
a
real chic and a business minded person and
knows that any business has to be grounded
with a stern form of
communication. With that being said, my
models know when there is a problem, they
can come to me and talk about anything and
CONFIDE in me that it will stay strictly
between me and them and that I will make
the best effort to correct
the problem. But, LavishModels is a FAMILY
and we stick together and are down for one
another, so we don’t have too many
problems.
Do your models work out together?
How do you select your team and what is
the requirements on staying fit
and toned?
My models do work out. Each model has their
own schedule as far as when they work out;
however, sometimes a couple
of the girls will go to the gym together.
My models know that the BODY LANGUAGE has
a lot to do with this industry
and that staying fit is a major requirement
in this game…I always tell them STEP
YA GAME UP –OR- YOU WILL GET STEPPED
ON!
Upcoming projects?
Yes, we have some upcoming videos, and
some print work ahead. More than anything,
we have PROMOTIONS..PROMOTIONS..PROMOTIONS.
LavishModels understands the concept of
GRIND HARDER,
and success will be right there. We know
to work hard and harder at every angle to
achieve success…
